Hola!My name is Anto.
I’m a certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) teacher and a native speaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I’ve been teaching since 2005, both in schools and independently, and I absolutely love helping students discover the joy of learning a new language.
For almost 10 years I also worked as cabin crew — an incredible experience that allowed me to explore new cultures and connect with people from all over the world. In 2020 I founded Poncho Spanish to create a learning experience that feels relaxed, positive, and meaningful.
With nearly 20 years of experience teaching children and teens, my main focus is helping young learners grow in confidence and curiosity, while also supporting adults who are looking for a similarly stress-free approach.
My mission? To empower anyone who’d like to open up to a whole new world of opportunities by giving them the gift of a new language. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Private one-to-one lessons are £35 per 50-minute session for children, teens and adults. Small group lessons are £40 per session in total, shared between up to four learners. GCSE or IGCSE support is £50 per session, shared when learning in a group. Start with a free trial; regular fees are paid monthly via PayPal.
Do you offer GCSE and IGCSE Spanish support?
Yes. Poncho Spanish provides focused GCSE and IGCSE Spanish exam support, available one-to-one or in a small group of up to four learners. Lessons are built to strengthen grammar and speaking, boost confidence and calm exam nerves so teenagers feel genuinely prepared.
What ages do you teach?
Poncho Spanish specialises in children and teenagers aged 7 to 18, with lessons tailored to each learner's age and stage. Adults are welcome too: there are dedicated one-to-one adult lessons at £35 per session, built around your own goals at a relaxed, stress-free pace.
Are the Spanish lessons online?
Yes, all live lessons take place online over Zoom during term time, so children and teens anywhere can learn from home. The self-paced Academy courses are also fully online, with instant access on mobile, tablet or desktop.
Is Poncho Spanish suitable for homeschooling and after-school learning?
Yes. Live Spanish lessons can be part of a home education routine or an after-school activity for children aged 7–18. Choose one-to-one tuition or organise a group of up to four learners. Sessions take place during term time; discuss current availability and your family's timetable with Anto.
Who teaches the lessons?
Lessons are taught by Anto, a certified ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) teacher and native speaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been teaching since 2005, both in schools and independently, and founded Poncho Spanish in 2020.
